

Sylvia was predeceased by her daughter Annette Marie and her grandson John Joseph.
She is survived by her beloved son John Erato and his wife Rev. Emilce, her loving granddaughter Christine Wieladek and her husband Eric, and her devoted brother and sister-in-law Anthony and Cindy Catanese. She was a cherished GiGi to her great-granddaughters, Annie “My love’ and Alex “My joy”. She is also survived by her many friends.
Sylvia worked at Medicine to Go in Forked River for many years as a Pharmaceutical Technician.
She was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing Rummi Kube with her friends. Sylvia was very religious; she was a long-time parishioner of St. Mary of the Pines in Manahawkin. She was part of the perpetual adoration, where she would pray weekly before the Blessed Sacrament at St. Mary Catholic Church in Barnegat.
She loved dogs and looked forward to all the pictures that her son would send her of her grand dog Sonny and of her great grand dog Cinnamon, that her granddaughter would send her. It made her day.
She loved her family and the times they were able to spend together. She will be greatly missed by all.

A Mass will be held 2:45pm on Friday, February 7, 2025,at St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church with a visitation to follow immediately from 3:45pm -4:45pm at the Church.
