Born in Edison, NJ he lived in various places in the US prior to moving to Whiting 15 years ago.
Throughout the years Bob owned pizzerias in Arizona and New Jersey. Upon his retirement, he went into the wholesale business with his sons.
Bob loved summer vacations at Wildwood beach with his family and spending time by the water. He also enjoyed fishing and crabbing.
Predeceased by his wife, Florence in 2011, he is survived by his sons William Sheppard, Jr, (Nerida), Michael and his wife Molly, Richard Sheppard, and Mark Anthony and his wife Karen and his 4 grandchildren, Paige, Jace, Amanda and Sophia.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, December 9th, 11AM at St. Mary of the Pines Catholic Church, 100 Bishop Dr., Manahawkin, NJ
