Born in Minsk Mazowiecki, Poland , she was a Holocaust Survivor. When the Nazis invaded Poland, she was sent to a work camp from which she escaped. After World War II, she went to a displaced persons camp in Germany and then moved to Israel. After leaving Israel, she lived in Canada, Indiana, Brooklyn, NY before moving to Manalapan, NJ.
Adela was preceded in death by her husband Isadore Froiman, her daughter Susan Berber and her 2 brothers who died in the Holocaust.
Surviving are her daughter Sara Goldman and her husband Jackie and her daughter Gail Bentkover, her sister Sabina Taubenfeld, her grandson Justin Goldman, her granddaughter Taryn Aronson, her granddaughter Marissa Pennington, her granddaughter Jessica King and her granddaughter Naomi Levit. Adela also had 8 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Friday, May 30, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Beth David Cemetery, 300 Elmont Rd, Elmont, NY 11003.
