Alan Schoenfeld

Born in Lakewood, he and his family have resided in Manalapan for 34 years.

Prior to retiring, he owned and operated Metallics Jewelers with his wife in East Brunswick for 23 years. He also went on to become the Vice President of private label credit cards for GE Finance.

He was a graduate of the University of Miami and had a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. Alan was a dedicated transcendental meditator since 1974. An avid bicycle rider, he loved the outdoors - especially nature and all animals. He was warm, funny, spiritual and gorgeous inside and out. Everyone who loved him will hold him in their hearts forever.

Surviving is his loving wife of 41 years, Sue; a daughter, Jill; a daughter, Pamela; a son, Jesse; and 3 sisters: Sharon, Sali, and Laura.

Funeral services will be held under the direction of Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels on Sunday at 11AM at Mt. Sinai Cemetery, Marlboro. Burial will immediately follow.
