I had the pleasure of workng for Artie for 18 years.Even though it has been many years since I have seen or spoken with him,he always had a special place in my heart.He not only was the kindest employer anyone could ever work for, he was the most warm hearted and most caring man I knew.His love for his family was endless.How lucky they were to have him in his life.My deepest sympathy to Dottie,Gary,Lisa,Susan and the rest of Arties family.He will be missed by all

Last night, I was looking at a full moon.  And, it seemed to me that the moon was brighter and that the  "man on the moon " had a wider smile than before.  So, I wondered if maybe the moon was part of heaven and Artie was the cause of that.   He brightened up every room he walked into and widened the smile of everyone who saw him, so I think that is completely possible.

And, the full moon, being the second of the month was a Blue Moon.  So, you think of the expression " Once in a Blue Moon ".  Artie was that rare individual that you meet once in a blue moon.   I have had a lot of pleasures in my 19 years at R&S Sales, but the biggest pleasure was really a treasure, that being Artie.  Being around Artie, observing Artie showed you how to be an ethical businessman, how to work hard, how to treat people, how to smile and how to truly be a family man.  Arthur Shapiro was the real deal and I will cherish him forever.

Although I did not have the pleasure to spend as much time as most of you had with Artie, he truly was a delightful person.  He always seemed to light up the room and everyone around him.  I am thankful to have known him.

I will always think of Artie as a kind, humorous and a person of his word. Often we talked about how the world and people were changing, but we always agreed that "Family" was the most important thing in life. There are few people I have met  that I would like to emulate, and my Artie is one of them. May God bless and keep you always in our hearts.

I feel so blessed to have had the pleasure of knowing Artie.  Artie will truly be missed.  I will carry with me the found memories of an incredibly kind, understanding and noble gentleman.

The world is a sadder place today. One of the nicest and sweetest man was taken from us.
I will miss Artie so much. He was not only my employer he was my friend. I will remember him and his smile always. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Artie was one of the people in this world that you wanted to be friends with, do business with, or just be in the presence of.  He was a man who would listen to everything you had to say, and tell you his opinion straight up.  No games.  But tons of laughs.  His daily jokes were something I looked forward to.  My thoughts & prayers are with his family.

For more than 25 years friendship, Artie is just a nice and wonderful friend. So many great old day memories came back; It was full of smiling and laughing. We will miss him.

Artie was a very special friend to us, he was really a nice person and a true gentleman, highly respected by everybody, he will always be remembered by us, trust that he is enjoying eternal peace and happiness now.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Shapiro families.  No words could ever totally comfort any of you at this time. Try to feel blessed to have had such a wonderful man in your lives and keep his memory alive with your shared stories and never ending love.

I know Artie about 19- 20years ago. He is the First Person I met from R&S. He is so kind and nice. Easy to get along with ... reasonable and understandable . Nice Man !! Still remember the first day scene that we work together in Wuxi factory. He is now arriving into another world which is full of Happiness .... no more worries. My deepest Condolence to the Shaprio family. He is really a nice person..... I will miss him ....

Artie, you are such a wonderful person. I am so thankful that I have had the opportunity to know you. You always brighten up my day.  It's hard to say goodbye.  I love you Artie. Thank you for all that you have taught me. We will always be together in our hearts.

Artie was a joy to the world. He brought light to everyone that he met. We are all better for having known him. We will miss him, but know that he is in a heavenly place.

Dear papa,
There was a point in time when I only thought of one person who would ultimately put all others before herself (that being my grandma), but after having met you, I now know two. There wasn't a day spent with you that I could look around and not see everyone else smiling or laughing at some silly thing you had said. You make everyone else feel good about themselves and that is something very hard to do in this world. I'm so very thankful that I've had the opportunity to meet you and spend many hours figuring out puzzles together. I want you to know that you've had more of an impact on me than you could ever know and I hope that one day I could be as amazing as an individual as you are. Thank you for all that you have taught me.

The world has lost a true treasure of a man. Artie was one in a million and touched every person who had the pleasure to know him in a special way. 

I will miss him dearly as will everyone he had contact with. I can't help but smile when I think of him. That was the way he made me feel each time I saw or spoke to him

With a great sense of grief I express my deepest sympathy to the Shapiro family.
It has been my honor and privilege to have known Artie for more than 25 years. No one I have known in my professional career was more respected and loved by all who knew him. I am fortunate to have been his friend, and I regret not seeing Artie one last time  before he was taken from us.
Artie found goodness in everyone, because his noble spirit would not allow him to see the world in any other manner. Although we knew each other professionally for so many years, our frequent conversations were more about family than anything else. Nothing was more important to him than his grand kids , his kids and his wife. 
I will remember Artie as truly one of the kindest and most honorable individuals I have ever known. 
My thoughts and prayers are with his loved one.
