Bernie passionately loved life, his family, history, the law, and the world. He was a man who didn't know how to love halfway and anyone who met him could attest to that.
Bernie is predeceased by his son, Pascal, and is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Rosa, their grandchildren Melissa, Jeremy and his wife Tonnie, as well as 3 great-grandchildren Ethan, Mateo, and Thalia.
