

Burt is survived by his wife of 64 years, Vicki, his daughter Shari and her husband Richard, his son Eric and his wife Patti, his son Jay and his wife Samantha, his brother Jerome and his wife Gloria, his nephews Brian and Evan, and his seven grandchildren Brett, Matthew, Lindsey, Erin, Megan, Brody and Colby.
He was predeceased by his parents Benjamin and Yetta Bauman.
Burt will be remembered for his intelligence, devotion to family, kind deeds of volunteer work and tzedakah, coaching youth sports, enthusiastic fan of underdog sports teams, love of travel, dry wit, and years of exemplary work as a chemical engineer for Mobil.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan, New Jersey 07726. Friends and extended family should arrive between 9:15am and 9:45am for the 10:00am funeral service.
Immediately following the funeral will be a burial service at 11:30am at Beth Israel Cemetery, 1098 Woodbridge Center Drive, Woodbridge, New Jersey 07095.
After the cemetery, there will be a luncheon at APA Hotel Woodbridge, 120 S Wood Avenue, Iselin, New Jersey 08830.
Shiva will be observed at the home of Gloria and Jerome Bauman, 107 Country Club Drive, Monroe Township, New Jersey 08831 from hours of 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

Vicki will be hosting a memorial for residents of Monroe Village and family at the Fireside from hours of 11:00am to 12:00pm.
Shiva will be observed in the Art Studio at Monroe Village, 1 David Brainerd Drive, Monroe Township, New Jersey 08831 from hours of 12:00pm to 3:00pm.

Shiva will be observed at the home of Shari and Richard Seroka, 821 North Road, Ridgewood, New Jersey 07450 from hours of 2:00pm to 5:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
