

Devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away in Hazlet, New Jersey on December 11, 2017.
Charlotte was born in Boston, Massachusetts on April 29, 1922 to Ida and Harry Karp. They moved to Brooklyn, New York when she was young. She graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in Brooklyn, New York and attended Brooklyn College until leaving to look for work during the Great Depression. She was employed for a number of years as a legal secretary.. During World War II, she worked for the US Government in Washington, DC. She was a devoted wife for 63 years to the late Royal Miller and lived in Staten Island, New York for most of that time. She was a long-time member of Hadassah and Congregation Agudath Achim Anshe Chesed Sisterhoodand enjoyed spending time with her family. In 2005, Charlotte and Royal moved to an assisted living facility in Freehold, New Jersey, and in 2010 they moved to Regency Park Nursing Center in Hazlet, New Jersey. Charlotte became a widow in 2010 and passed away after having had Alzheimer's Disease for a number of years.
Charlotte is survived by her daughter, Janet Schneider, her son, Robert A. Miller, five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
