

Born in Poland, she lived in Brooklyn, NY, Fairlawn, NJ for 28 years and in Manchester, NJ for 24 years before moving to Freehold.
She was a survivor of the Holocaust, as she survived Plaszow, Auschwitz, and was liberated from Bergen-Belsen.
She was a frequent speaker of her life experiences and was a member of the Center for Holocaust, Human Rights and Genocide Education. There are thousands of children, many now adults, whose lives were changed by hearing and meeting her.
She was pre-deceased by her husband of 64 years, Victor in 2010. Surviving are her two sons and daughters-in-law, Howard and Pamela of Manalapan, and Steven and Geri of Irvine, CA, her eight grandchildren, Neil, Lauren, Jamie, Greg, Jessica, David, Danielle and Jeffrey, and her four great-grandchildren, Jacob, Regan, Leighton and Sarah.
Services will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, July 21, 2014 at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Ave., Manalapan, NJ (Use Englishtown for GPS). Friends and extended family should arrive between 12:15pm-12:45pm for the 1:00pm service. Interment will follow at Floral Park Cemetery in South Brunswick, NJ.
