Gary Freedman

Born in Brooklyn, New York, he moved to Monroe Township in 1985.

Gary was the owner and operator of Park Roofing & Sheet Metal Company, Inc. of South River.

A graduate of Middlesex County College, he was a member of the Sheet Metal Contractors Association

Gary was involved in his community as a Cub Scoutmaster of Pack #3 of Monroe Twp., Wrestling Coach and Director for the Monroe Junior Falcons. He was also a member of the Middlesex County Office of Emergency Management and the Police Auxiliary Academy.

Gary is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Robin Dean Freedman and his devoted children: Robert and Jodi. He was the cherished son of Herbert and Charlotte Resnick Freedman, the adored brother and uncle of Denise Mako, her husband Robert and their children Morgan & Danny Mako, and Michael Freedman, his wife Melany and their daughter, Faith Freedman. He was also the dear brother-in-law and uncle of Patricia & Robert Seesselberg and their children, Matthew & Ryan Seesselberg.

Services will be held on Tuesday, January 28 at 11:00 am in BLOOMFIELD-COOPER JEWISH CHAPELS, 44 Wilson Avenue (Route 527 North), Manalapan, followed by interment at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, January 27 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
