Jerry Collins

Jerry Collins, 86 years of Marlboro, N.J. died on Thursday September 3, 2015 at Centra State Medical Center in Freehold, N.J.. Born in the Bronx, New York he was a self employed Diamond Setter for many years. He lived in Spring Valley, N.Y. , before moving to Greenbriar at Marlboro 28 years ago. Mr. Collins was very active in sports and was the Director of the Condo Olympics at the Greenbriar Devopement .

He was An Army Veteran and a member of the Claremore Club Knights of Pythias in New York. Surviving are his beloved wife Rhoda of 63 years. His daughters and sons-in-law Patrice & Brad Nitzberg of Boca Raton, FL, Lisa & Doug Flint of West Caldwell, N.J., a brother & sister in law Robert & Nina Collins of North Miami Beach , FL. and his loving grandchildren Matthew Nitzberg, Ethan Flint, Andrew Nitzberg and Rachel Flint . Funeral services will be held at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Ave., Manalapan, N.J. on Sunday September 6, 2015 at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at Cedar Park Cemetery, 735 Forest Ave., Emerson, N.J. . Shiva will be observe at the late residence Sunday afternoon after 5:00 PM., Monday & Tuesday from the hours of 2:00- 5:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM.
