Joseph Jacob Salz, age 78, of Jackson Township, New Jersey passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022. Joseph was born in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn, New York. He attended Erasmus Hall High School and graduated from Pace University. Joe was the founder of Wine Lovers of Westlake, serving ten years as president. He also served as an officer in the Westlake Men’s Club and Yiddish Club.
He was an avid baseball fan, especially the Yankees, and loved watching his grandsons play the game.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Myra Salz; son, Lee; daughter, Marlo; daughter-in-law, Sharon; grandchildren, Jamie, Steven, and David; and beloved pup, Jett.
Funeral Services for Joseph will be held Monday, December 26, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan, NJ 07726.

Burial will be Monday, December 26, 2022 at 2:15 PM at Mount Sinai Cemetery, 374 Route 79, Marlboro, NJ 07746.
The Period of Mourning will be observed at the family residence, 25 Pebble Beach Blvd., Jackson, NJ – Monday: 4 pm-6 pm, Tuesday and Wednesday: 1-4 pm, 7-9 pm.
