

Larry Schnitzer, of Monroe Township, NJ died Saturday, December 6, 2014 at the Princeton Medical Center, Plainsboro. He and his family just celebrated his 70th. birthday with a surprise party on November 22.
Born in the Bronx, NY he was raised in Queens Village, than moved to Red Bank, NJ. He lived in Parsippany, West Orange and then Old Bridge for 27 years before moving to Monroe Township in 2005.
Mr. Schnitzer was the Department Manager of Jared Jewelers, Freehold. Prior to that, he was the manager of J. Hess Jewelers, Menlo Park, for 12 years.
A Vietnam War Air Force Veteran, he received the Air Force Commendation Medal. He also served in Thailand and South Korea.
Mr. Schnitzer was a member of the Shalom Club and the Veterans Club, both at the Renaissance development where he lived.
Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Barbara Halpert Schnitzer; his daughter Michelle Heite and her husband David; his sister Roberta Shenloogian and her husband John; his niece and nephews: Eric Shenloogian and his wife Lauren, Dana Ingram and her husband James, and Scott Shenloogian and his wife Christy; and his great nieces Braelynn Ingram and Emily Shenloogian.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at 11am at Bloomfield Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan, NJ ( For GPS directions, please use 44 Wilson Avenue, Englishtown, NJ 07726) , interment to follow at the Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge.
