Libby A/k/a Lila Krufka

Libby (Lila) Krufka, 85, passed away at Centrastate Medical Center on Saturday, January 24, 2015. She was a resident of Greenbriar at Marlboro for the past four years and previously resided in Delray Beach, FL, East Hampton, NY and Aberdeen, NJ. A homemaker, she was born on June 1, 1929 in Brooklyn, NY and was a 1947 graduate of James Madison High School. The daughter of Harry and Minnie Emerson, she married Abraham Krufka on January 16, 1949. She is predeceased by him, her parents and her brother, Alfred Emerson. She is survived by her daughters Ellen Winston and her husband, Marvin, and Mara Krufka. Also surviving are granddaughters Emily Winston, Sarah Platovskiy and her husband, Steve, and Jessica Winston as well as two great-grandchildren, Ava and Jake Platovskiy. Services will be held at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Ave, Manalapan, NJ 07726 on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 11am. Interment to follow at Agudath Achim Cemetery, Freehold, NJ. The family will be sitting shiva, at the Winston Residence, 30 Morningside Drive, Old Bridge, NJ 08857 , Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
