Born in Brooklyn, NY, she spent most of her life in New York until she moved to Covered Bridge in Manalapan.
Marilyn worked for many years as an administrator for the Board of Education’s Special Needs program in Coney Island.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Samuel in 1964. Surviving are her daughter’s and sons-in-law; Hilary and Peter Geszdorf of Manalapan, NJ, Saranne and Alfred Grossman of Norwalk, CT, and Claudia and David Rosen of Manalapan, NJ, and her granddaughter, Samantha Finzi.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30am on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at Beth David Cemetery in Elmont, 300 Elmont Road, Elmont, NY. Friends and family should meet at the cemetery office at 11:00am.
Shiva will be observed at the home of Claudia and David Rosen on Monday and Tuesday after 1pm.
