Patrick John Coleman

Born on November 12, 1960 in Staten Island, New York, Pat was the beloved husband to Judy; father to Matthew (wife: Jayne), Brian and Tara (husband: Nicholas); brother to Deborah, Victoria, Nadine and John; grandfather to Rory, Teddy, Alina and Charlotte; and friend to many.

To know Pat was to love Pat. Whether building furniture, fixing things around the house, or helping a neighbor with a project, Pat was always happiest when he was helping someone. He had a gift for making people feel welcome and offering help before being asked.

His passing leaves a silence that’s hard to bear — the absence of his laughter, his steady presence, his practical wisdom, and his helping hands. But even in our grief, we are filled with gratitude for the time we had with him. We will carry his memory in the sound of saws and hammers, in the comfort of well-worn tools, in the jokes we retell, and in the small acts of kindness we pass on in his honor.

Funeral services will be held on June 6, 2025 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels in Manalapan, NJ. Interment will follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens at 1:00pm.
