Paul, you will always hold a huge piece of my heart just for being the man you didn't have to be. You gave us such a great life, and I am so grateful for you and everything you've done for me. Thank you for so many amazing meals, picking me and Jen up from just about everything we did as kids and I will never forget listening to 101.9 with you even though I hated it when my friends were in the car lol. You were more than a step-dad you were my dad.
I'll miss your "Paul" jokes and definitely miss the big holiday dinners cuz you always pulled it all off by yourself which I think was one of your superpowers, the other one being able to handle 4 crazy women!! Thank you for just being you, Paul, a true kind soul, and a great person to have had to look up to ❤️

I’m so sorry for your loss. Keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers. Uncle Paul gave me a bird for my 16th birthday. That bird gave us joy for many years. We will miss his cooking... especially his chopped liver. May his memory be a blessing.

Please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of Paul. We have all shared so much joy, laughter, great memories and good times over the last three decades with you, Paul and the entire family.

Sending my deepest, most heartfelt condolences to the entire Paul and Simon families. I hope you find comfort and peace in the beautiful legacy he leaves behind.

Paul, thank you for being you. As far as uncles go, you were one of the greats. You always had a joke at the ready, but were an equally good conversationalist. You never seemed to judge or push your opinion on others but always had some wisdom to share. Something you said once about first love has stayed with me and has been something I’ve since said to others many times. 

I remember so many nights coming in late with Meghan to find you on the couch, waiting for us to get home safe. 

When you found out how much I loved Vargas’ pinup girls, you gave me two of your original pieces, just because. 

Your beautiful carpentry - the awesome deck you built around the pool, the toy houses that were displayed at the top of the stairwell on Hampton Way, the headboards and countless other things you built. 

Second only to your love of family was your love of pets! From Pasha and Payne to Bella, Blizzard, and Grizzly. Your love for them was palpable!

And last but not least, I will hold onto the countless INCREDIBLE meals you prepared for all of us. My life would have been much less delicious without your food in it!! Your love of cooking and skill were always on display and something I always looked forward to! (particularly your chocolate mousse, I will always think of you when I make it, thank you for sharing your recipe with me) Fred was obsessed with your bacon fat gravy (he can still taste it!)

In my memory you will always be at the grill, shirtless (to Eileen’s chagrin lol) making jokes and singing. 

You’ve left your mark on us all, Paul, and you will always be an important member of our family. I love you and miss you! Thank you for it all.

Our deepest and sincere condolences are extended to all within the family.

Brother Paulie was a good man, a loving husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, brother and brother-in-law who was always there at any hour of the day or night for those he loved and cared for at all times and he will be deeply missed… 😢!

I will forever remember his sense of humor, spending more than a few vacations with Paul, Eileen and the family both down by him and Eileen and also in Wildwood Crest. 

We shared many great conversations, enjoying so many good times together when we would all gather together as a family during holidays and numerous special occasions. 

Whether it was helping him to build the deck and then hanging out on it after it was finished or just hanging out at their house in the living room with the fireplace, the many barbecues, swimming in the pool, weddings, holiday and family functions with Paul, Eileen, the children, Katie’s siblings and their families along with his family, as well. All were welcome in the Simon and Paul household over the years.

I miss the days when Nanny Foley, my mom and everyone else gathered around the dinner table with all and talking with his brother, Roy about our New York Giants.

Those were the days!

I always got a kick out of the way Paul pronounced Home Depot and his love of chocolate cake. Paul left a lasting impression on me and, through all the years, we never had one single disagreement nor did we ever exchange harsh words with each other. All he ever wanted was peace and happiness and now, my brother, my friend … Paul is at peace and he suffers pain no more …

Dear Eileen,
We are so sorry to hear that Paul has died. He was such a kind man who welcomed us into your family and your home (even though there were so many of us)! He leaves a large gap in the family. Marty has the tie Paul so kindly gave to him at Kaitlin's wedding. Paul has earned his eternal rest.
Be assured our prayers and thoughts are with you all. I wish we lived closer so I could give you a hug. I will ask Jenna to do that for me.
