He was the husband of Susan, father of Jill (Richard) and Jason (Jaime) and the adoring grandfather of Brett, Emma, Dylan and Kylie.
Richard worked as a computer specialist for American Airlines, NBC and Comcast.
He loved travel, Lionel Trains and the many friendships he made throughout his life.
For Susan and the family, the memory of his smile and love will be treasured and missed.
Walks on the beach, be it Fiji or the Jersey Shore was his happy place. Spending time with his family was his happiest place of all.
He was our sunshine.
A funeral service was held at 10:00 am on April 16, 2026 at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan, New Jersey 07726 immediately followed by a 1:30 pm burial service at New Montefiore Cemetery, 1180 Wellwood Avenue, West Babylon, New York 11704.
