Sandi is 2 years older than me and i always looked up to her,my dear cousin. Her great personality,smile and way of being is  a gift to those who spent any time with her. My mom and Sandi had a particularly special relationship, so much love flowed between them.Every Passover thru adulthood  and  time every summer in Smallwood gives a lifetime of growing up memories.

I am so sorry to hear of Sandi's passing.  I remember her with such great fondness.and her passion for teaching English at PS 60. We shared so many wonderful moments as ESL teachers in Staten Island.  She was sweet, kind and loving!

I have so many fond memories of Sandi when we taught together at PS 60. She was a hard working , talented and dedicated teacher.  She was so supportive when I first starting teaching at PS 60.  I will remember her beautiful smile and her kindness toward the ESL children she taught English to.  RIP

To my dearest cousin Sandi,

I will always remember the week I'd spent for many summers with my family and your family in your house in Smallwood. I recall those times my sister, Iris and I spent with you and your brother, Joey. In reality that was over 60 years ago, a lifetime away, yet it feels like yesterday! 

You know I believe that only your body dies, yet you live on... and I hope to see you again someday! In fact I know we will!
