Born in Brooklyn, she lived in Freehold for the past 30 years.
Mrs. Aptaker was a Programmer for Johnson and Johnson, New Brunswick, for 30 years.
A longtime member of Temple Rodeph Torah, Marlboro, she was also a member of the National Council of Jewish Women. Mrs. Aptaker was a longtime volunteer at Centra State Medical Center, Freehold, and was honored for volunteering over 2000 hours in 2 years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Melvin, in 1972.
She will always be remembered by her sons Jeff Aptaker and his wife Sharon of Freehold, Dave Aptaker and his wife Kathy of Freehold and Randy Aptaker and his wife Elyse of Lincroft; her grandchildren: Matt Aptaker, Jessie Hagy and her husband Jeremy, Adam Aptaker, Jason Aptaker, Dennis Aptaker, Melanie Aptaker and Courtney Aptaker; and her adored great-grandchildren: Julia and Drew Hagy.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 11:00am at Temple Rodeph Torah, 15 Mohawk Drive, Marlboro, followed by burial at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge.
The Period of Mourning will be observed as follows: following the burial at the home of David and Kathy Aptaker and also from 6-9pm, at the home of Jeff and Sharon on Wednesday from 6-9pm and at the home of Randy and Elise on Thursday from 6-9pm.
