Steven Koster, 71, passed away on January, 7, 2020. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Marsha, his son; Craig Koster and his wife, Joanna, his daughter; Lauren Scherr and her husband, Bryan, his grandchildren; Brody Scherr, Jayden Scherr, Joshua Koster and Ari Koster, his sister; Sheila Kaplan and her husband, Jack, and his brother; David Koster and his wife, Ampy.
A funeral service will be held for Steven at 11:30am on Thursday, January 9th at Congregation Neve Shalom, 250 Grove Avenue, Metuchen, NJ followed by an entombment at Beth Israel Cemetery, 1000 Woodbridge Drive, Woodbridge, NJ. The family will sit Shiva at the Koster residence in Manalapan, NJ following the burial on Thursday from 2-5pm and from 7-9pm (Minyan at 7), on Friday from 12-4pm and on Saturday from 6-9pm with a Minyan at 7. On Sunday, Shiva will be held at the Scherr residence in Livingston, NJ from noon to 6pm. On Monday, Shiva will be at Craig and Joanna Koster’s residence in Metuchen, NJ from 5 to 8:30pm with a Minyan at 7:30pm.
