

Stuart Hoberman, 78, was born and grew up in the Bronx, New York. He earned a B.B.A. from Baruch College of the City of New York, received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, and his LL.M. from New York University. He was admitted to the New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania Bars. He began his legal career at Windels and Marx in New York for 5 years, and then for the rest of his career, he was a senior partner and shareholder at Wilentz, Goldman, and Spitzer in Woodbridge, where he led the banking and financial practice. He was extremely active in the NJ State Bar Association, holding many positions, serving on many committees; and ultimately becoming president in 2005. He also served on the Chamber of Commerce, the board of Cancer Care, the Emmanuel Cancer Foundation, and many other organizations.
In addition to his family, Stu's passion was scuba diving. He traveled the world finding the best diving sites to explore. he also won numerous awards for his incredible underwater photography. Stu also enjoyed archery, and most recently target shooting. He also was a die hard Yankee fan.
Stu is survived by his wife of 52 years, Pam, who he met when they were teenagers in the Bronx, his beloved children, son and daughter in law Jason and Tracey Hoberman and daughter and son in law Randi and Mike Kaplan, and his true pride and joys, his grandchildren, Ashley, Reid, Abby and Chloe. Stu is also survived by a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Walter and Linday Meyer, nieces, a nephew, two great nieces and two great nephews, a large extended family and a great many friends and colleagues. He will be sadly missed by all.
