Toby Cohen

Born in Brooklyn, she resided in Bensonhurst for most of her life before settling in the Clearbrook community of Monroe Twp. 14 years ago.

Prior to retiring, Toby was an insurance agent for a family company, Baldwin Brokerage on Long Island. During her retirement in Clearbrook, she was a member of Bnai Brith and SHOC. The family matriarch, Toby held everyone together. She was the center of her family and will always be known by her great-grandchildren as “Great Toby.” Her love of throwing the dice - craps - kept her joyful and excited.

She was predeceased by her husband, Morris in 1974 and her son, David, in 2010.

Surviving are her son, Ira and his wife Caryl; a daughter-in-law, Lisa; 4 grandchildren: Debbi and her husband Stephen, Michael and his wife Edna, Paul, and Jennifer and her husband Lance; and 11 great-grandchildren: Wade, Taylor, Rachel, Jocelyn, Devyn, Macey, Sean, Mikaela, Deanna, Ryan, and Sarah.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 17, 2020 at 11AM at Beth Moses Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY. Interment will immediately follow.
