Anna N. Cote Lord

Anna N. Lord, 75, of Allenstown, died October 4, 2015 at her home after a short illness. She was born in Manchester on December 8, 1939 the daughter of Romeo and Irene (Gelinas) Cote. She grew up in Manchester and was educated in the Queen City School System.

She was a homemaker and was dedicated to caring for her family. She enjoyed craftmaking, was very skilled at knitting and crocheting and loved writing poetry. Anna was a kind-hearted woman who was always doing for others. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Members of her family include her loving husband of 44 years Dennis Lord of Allenstown, her daughter Lisa Saez of Worcester, MA, her sister Emela Lemire of San Diego, CA, her brother Robert Cote and his wife Sandra of Oklahoma and her special friend Jessica Davis of Candia as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday October 13 at 10 am in St. John the Baptist Church 10 School St. Allenstown, NH. Urn burial will be at the convenience of the family. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations in Anna’s name be made to the Concord VNA Hospice House 240 Pleasant St. Concord, NH 03301. The McHugh Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family with her care.
