

Carol J. French, 63, of Hooksett, died March 15, 2015 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack after a lengthy illness. She was born in Franklin, NH on November 30, 1951 the daughter of Earl W. and Villa I. (Stone) French. She moved to Manchester with her family at an early age, was educated in the Queen City school system and was a graduate of Manchester Central High School.
She was trained as a registered nurse since 1970 and was employed at Moore General Hospital and Mary Hitchcock Hospital. Carol was an avid golfer and was a member of the NH Golf Association. She also enjoyed shopping and playing cards. A devout Christian, she was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and was always faithful to lend a helping hand in church activities. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted daughter, sister aunt and friend.
She was predeceased by her brother Robert French and by her sister Barbara Bellotte.
Members of her family include her sister Beverly Cloutier and her husband Raymond of Stafford Springs, CT, her nephews James Bellotte and Robert Bellotte both of Manchester and Eric French of Florida and her nieces Donna Boulanger of Manchester and Lori Ann Archambault of Stafford Springs, CT.
Visitation was held on Saturday March 28 from 4 to 5 pm at Emmanuel Baptist Church 14 Mammoth Rd. in Hooksett. A Celebration of Life Service followed at 5 pm in the church. Urn burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations in Carol’s name be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church. The McHugh Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family with her care.
