

Donna Lee McIntyre, 64, of Woolwich, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice Home in Scarborough with her husband by her side. She was born in Manchester on July 29, 1949, the daughter of John and Bernice (Stewart) Severance. She grew up in New Hampshire and graduated from Pembroke Academy in Pembroke NH.
On May 3, 2003 she married her soul mate and best friend Robert A. McIntyre and the couple resided in Woolwich. She was employed as a Regional Coordinator for Pitney-Bowes; retiring just a few years ago.
Donna loved to travel, always looking for new adventures to explore. She loved her family, and there wasn’t anything that she wouldn’t do for them. Her grandchildren were very precious to her; she would light up every time she got to spend time with them. In her spare time she tended to her flower gardens, Donna had a real passion for growing the most beautiful flowers. She was a special lady that will be remembered forever in our hearts.
Donna leaves behind her husband, Robert McIntyre of Woolwich; sons, Steven Walsh of Manchester and Kenneth McIntyre of Georgetown, ME; daughters Christine Walsh-Meisel of Manchester and Amber McIntyre of Boston MA; a brother Stewart Severance of Loudon, NH; two sisters, Barbara Marier of Allenstown NH and Jeanette Plourde of Boscawen NH; two grandchildren, Maria McIntyre of Georgetown ME and Trevor Walsh of Manchester; nieces, nephews and many friends.
Calling hours were held on Sunday, June 29th from 2 to 4 PM in the McHugh Funeral Home, 283 Hanover St., corner of Beech St. followed by a ceremony to at 4 PM. Rev. Douglas Rickard was the celebrant.
