Francis “Bo” Healy, 54, of Bedford, died February 17, 2022 at home after a brief illness. He was born in Manchester on May 17, 1967 the son of Robert and Nancy Healy. He grew up in Bedford and attended Florida International University after graduating from Manchester West High School.
Since he was a child, Bo had a love for heavy equipment and it only made sense that his career would grow off of that love. Early mornings, in a sand pit with an excavator, is where you would often find him. You could always recognize him in his Timbs with a Carhartt Jacket and thermos in hand, but if that wasn’t enough, his laugh traveled for miles. Bo was always a rebel, and at an early age he bought a dirt bike and discovered an avid love for Motor Cross. He spent his teenage years riding in the trails and making several friends along the way. As time went on, he transferred his love for dirt bikes to planes and history. One of Bo’s favorite activities was going to the airport and watching the planes take off, and then finishing the night with a chapter about WWII. He was a man of very few words, but those he did say meant a lot. He was one of the most kind and caring individuals and if you were lucky enough he might have just offered to get you a french vanilla iced coffee from Dunkins.
Members of his family include his mother Nancy Healy, his sisters Lynn Mojave and Leslie Capistran and her husband Phil Capistran all of Bedford, NH, his nieces Amanda Mojave of Asheville, NC, Jillian Mojave and Sophia Capistran of Bedford NH, and his nephews Maxwell and Jacob Capistran of Brooklyn, NY. He was predeceased by his father, Robert “Bob” Healy.
No formal services will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations in Bo’s name be made to The American Heart Association.
The McHugh Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family with his care.
