Grace M. Taylor

She was born in Littleton, NH on June 25, 1932, the daughter of the late Theophile and Orinda (Shawney) Ricard.

Grace grew up in Littleton, NH. She was educated at St Rose of Lima School and later attended Littleton High School. She was a dedicated and hard worker. She was employed as a bookkeeper for Rogers Garage of Concord and eventually retired from the State Of New Hampshire as an auditor in1994. Growing up she attended St. Rose of Lima Church in Littleton and recently became a member of the Monadnock Covenant Church in Keene. Grace had a very full life, she enjoyed everything from knitting to traveling to collecting spoons, but mostly she loved spending time with her family, especially her great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband Walter L. Taylor in 2001.

She is survived by a son, Kevin Halvorsen and his wife Laura of Hillsborough, NH; two daughters, Donna Roberson and her husband Robbie of Sequin, TX; Betty Simoneau and Normand of Manchester, NH; and a sister, Jean Halvorsen of Epson, NH; six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2011 from 2 PM to 4 PM at McHugh Funeral Home, 283 Hanover Street, corner of Beech St., Manchester, NH 03104. A Memorial Service will be celebrated in the funeral home at 4 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Grace’s name to a charity of one’s choice.
