Irene Helene Wolf-Pinard

Irene Helene Wolf-Pinard, age 103, of Goffstown, New Hampshire passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 23, 2023. Born on August 6, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Nelson and Ellen (Moore) Gingras.

Born and raised in New Hampshire, she grew up across the street from a one room schoolhouse, owned by her father, which she attended as a young girl. Ironically, many years later Irene now married to Conrad, bought and remodeled the schoolhouse into their first home. In Irene's career, she was a valued worker at Myrna Shoe. She met her first husband, Conrad Wolf, and the two of them were inseparable until his passing in August of 1974. She lived independently for many years, but found love once again with her second husband, Leo Pinard until his passing in 1999.

Irene had many passions in her life, such as sewing, knitting, crocheting and decorating for every season. She never missed a special occasion and loved to attend holiday parties with family at her niece Joan's home. Irene and Joan had a very special bond, spending almost every day with each other and talking on the phone. The two of them loved each other's company and enjoyed shopping, sharing memories, and spending time together during their visits at the nursing home until the very end. Irene was truly an unbelievable woman and will be missed by all who knew her.

Irene is survived by her beloved nieces; Joan Poulicakos and husband Paul of Goffstown, Nancy Harmony and husband Steve of Londonderry, Ruth Cole of Raymond, Ellen Guimond and husband Ernest of Manchester and Margaret Chywinkey and husband Brian of Colorado; nephews, Stephen Carter and wife Denise of Bedford, Richard Barrett and wife Linda of Goffstown, Gustaf Gingras of Gilmanton, Leslie Carter and wife Charlene of Bedford, Leo Gingras and wife Elaine of Florida and Conrad Brouillard and Bonnie Young of Manchester; step-son Ronald Pinard and wife Rita of Bedford; and several loving grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She is predeceased by her nieces Carol Foster and Shirley Brouillard; nephew, Nelson Carter; sisters Mary Carter, Mildred Brouillard, Ruth Barrett; and brothers, William Gingras, George Gingras, Leo Gingras.

A visitation for Irene will be held Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at McHugh Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 283 Hanover St, Manchester, New Hampshire 03104, followed by a funeral mass at St. Peter Catholic Church, 567 Manchester Road, Auburn, NH. Immediately following her funeral mass, Irene will be interred at Saint Joseph Cemetery, 448 Donald Street, Bedford, NH at 12:30 PM.
