Jane B. Simpson Steward

Jane Bradley Steward, 63, of Goffstown, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2012 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born on October 7, 1948 in Methil, Fife Scotland in the UK. She was the daughter of George and Elizabeth (Swindley) Simpson. She moved to New Hampshire in September 2011 living for a period of time in Florida (1986-1991), Massachusetts (1991-1998) and Michigan since 1998. Jane was Presbyterian.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Tony Simpson. Members of her family include her husband of 44 years, Ian Steward of Goffstown, her sons, Kevin Steward (Colleen) of Vernon Hills, Illinois, Craig Steward (Dilani) of Somerville, MA, Alan Steward (Cara) of Bedford, NH and daughter, Gillian Hayes (John) of Hoboken, NJ, brother, Ian Simpson (Margaret) of Gauldry, Fife Scotland and 8 grandchildren, Edward, Ian, Amali, Liam, Jack and Abby Steward and Jake and Karly Hayes.

Memorial Calling Hours were held on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 from 6-8 pm at McHugh Funeral Home, 283 Hanover St. Corner of Beech Street, Manchester. A Memorial Service was held on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the Bedford Presbyterian Church, 4 Church Road in Bedford. Rev. Dr. Michael Carrier officiated. Inurnment followed in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Bedford, NH.
