Joseph R Jolley Sr.

Joseph R. Jolley Sr., 99, died March 6, 2012 at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home in Goffstown after a brief illness. He was born on October 29, 1912 in Harrisville, NH the son of Joseph and Mary Jolley and was raised in the Harrisville area.

After relocating to Manchester, Joe was employed for many years as a fork lift operator with the Seal Tanning Company. He enjoyed taking long walks and spending time with his family and many friends.

Members of his family include his son Joseph Jolley Jr. and his wife Rosalyn of Manchester, ten grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren, his son-in-law Lester Shaw of Manchester as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his son Robert Jolley, his daughter Evelyn Shaw and by his two brothers and three sisters.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. The family requests that donations in Joe’s name be made to the New Horizons Food Pantry 199 Manchester St. Manchester, NH 03104. The McHugh Funeral Home 283 Hanover St. in Manchester is assisting the family with the arrangements.
