

Leroy Goodman, 73, of Manchester, died June 7, 2015 at Catholic Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born in Franklin, VA on April 26, 1942 the son of Henry and Mary (Lucille) Goodman. He grew up in Franklin and was educated in the local school system.
Leroy was a truck driver for numerous trucking companies and following his retirement he worked as a custodian for the Candia School District. He also enjoyed detailing cars. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Members of his family include his wife Debra (Erwin) Goodman of Manchester, his daughter Jacqueline Benjamin and her husband Frank of Charlotte, NC, his two sons Leroy Goodman Jr. and his wife Nicole of Manchester and Keith Goodman and his wife Tammy of Camp Lejeune, NC, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and his two sisters Doris Rawlings and Ethel May Fuller as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday June 13 from 1 to 3 pm at the McHugh Funeral Home 283 Hanover St. corner of Beech St. in Manchester. A Memorial Service immediately followed in the funeral home.
