Linda J. Griffin

Linda Jean Griffin, 75, of Manchester, passed away peacefully while surrounded by family on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. Born in Lynn, MA on November 11, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Louise Cooper (Chiaradonna).

Linda grew up in Lynn, Ma and graduated from Lynn English High School in 1964. She made a career in the car business for 36 years, with the last 20 years spent at Auto Auction of New England before her retirement in 2017. In 2015, she tied the knot with her husband Ronald Soucy by Elvis Presley in Las Vegas. Linda was a strong and independent woman, who was always caring for those around her. She loved spending time with her friends and family while camping at Keyser Campground. She enjoyed shopping, playing bingo, and riding motorcycles with her husband.

She is survived by her loving husband Ronald Soucy; daughter Stacey Silva and husband Jim; grandchildren Kassidy Silva and Dominick Silva; sister Charlene “Cookie” West and husband Marc; brother Raymond Cooper and wife Liz; family dog Patches; and many loving nieces and friends.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 7 from 10am to 12pm at McHugh Funeral Home located at 283 Hanover St, Manchester with service beginning at 12pm. A burial will immediately follow at Pine Grove Cemetery located at 756 Brown Ave, Manchester.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Linda’s honor may be offered to the Visiting Nurse Association of Manchester and Southern NH, 1070 Holt Ave, Suite 1400 Manchester NH 03109.
