Luiz "LuLu" Gilberto Soto

Born at Catholic Medical Center on July 8, 1980 to Aida Velez and Gilberto Soto Sr. He was born, raised and educated in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Luiz held many roles, but his favorite was working at A&E Fire Protection as a Pipe Fitter. He was proud of whatever work he performed. He will be remembered as a loving, funny, strong, protective, devoted family man to those that knew him.

He loved football and played every season growing up, ending his career playing for Memorial High School. He had earned a scholarship to Oklahoma State, but could not move away from his family. He also did Karate and was part of Burgess MMA. His passion was riding his motorcycle with friends and BROthers every chance he could.

Family members, in addition to his parents; include two sons, Brendan and Cayden Soto from Salem, New Hampshire; brother Gilberto Soto Jr. of Sutton, NH; sister Sandra Brown of Newport, NH; sister Brenda Soto of Manchester NH; sister-in-law MaryEllen Soto of Sutton NH; brother-in-law Daniel Brown of Newport NH; nephew Juan Soto of Belmont; niece Krystal Lewandowski of Hollis; God-daughter Ashli Amador of Belmont; niece Nattashia Duaphinee of Hillsboro, NH; niece Leah Brown of Arizona; Godson Daniel Brown of Newport, NH; nephew Juan Soto of Franklin NH; many aunts, uncles and cousins from New Hampshire, New Jersey, Florida, and Puerto Rico, all whom adored him.

A visitation for Lu Lu will be held Thursday, June 22, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McHugh Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 283 Hanover St, Manchester, New Hampshire 03104. A funeral service will occur Friday, June 23, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Anne-St. Augustin Parish, 382 Beech St, Manchester, New Hampshire. A burial will occur Friday, June 23, 2023 at 11:30 AM at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Rd, Manchester, New Hampshire.
