

He was born in Frilli, Germany on January 21, 1948, the son of the late Mike and Maria (Berzewo) Marchwicz.
Marian was known to his close friends and family as “Gaffer”. He has been a Hooksett resident for the past twenty-six years. Marian served his Country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was employed as a cement truck driver for Granite State Concrete in Milford for the past sixteen years. He was previously employed for NYCOA Corp. Marian was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed playing horseshoes, spending time at the race track, barbecuing and gardening. Marian especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by four brothers, Michael, Stanley, Bruno and Zenon Marchwicz and a sister, Barbara Timco.
He is survived by his loving wife, Judi (Humphrey) Marchwicz; a daughter, Lisa Girting and her husband Nicholas of Weare, NH; two brothers, John Marchwicz and his wife Sandra of Manchester and Steven Marchwicz and his wife Tanya of OR; two sisters, Wanda Timbas of Manchester and Anna Molina and her husband Tony of FL; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visiting hours were held on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 from 5 PM to 7 PM at McHugh Funeral Home, 283 Hanover Street; corner of Beech Street, Manchester, NH 03104. A Memorial Service was celebrated in the Funeral Home at 7 PM.
