Ronald D. Dachowski

Ronald D. Dachowski, 64, of Goffstown passed away Thursday evening, July 10, 2014 in the Elliot Hospital after a brief illness surrounded by family and friends. He was born in Manchester on August 17, 1949, the son of the late Joseph Dachowski and Acilda (Dennoncourt) Dachowski.

He was raised in Manchester and attended Memorial High School and had lived in the area all of his life. Ronnie was employed by Jac-Pac/ Tyson Foods for more than 40 years until his retirement. He had risen through the ranks to become a trusted manager.

In his leisure time he enjoyed boating and working in his yard. Above all else, Ronnie cherished time spent with his family.

In addition to his father, Ronnie was pre deceased by a daughter Shana Somers in 1988.

He leaves behind his mother, Acilda Dachowski of Manchester; two sisters, Ann Macropol and her husband Harry of Manchester and Jane Smagula and her husband Gary of Bedford; a brother Mickey Dachowski and his companion Lillian Dery of Manchester; an aunt and uncle as well as several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours were held on Monday from 4 to 8 PM in the McHugh Funeral Home, 283 Hanover St, corner of Beech St. A Funeral Mass was celebrated Tuesday at 12:30pm in Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Elm St. Manchester. Private interment was in Pine Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Ronnie’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society, Centralized Memorial Processing Center, 30 Speen St., Framingham NH 01701.
