

Ruth W. (White) Eisenhauer, 70, of Hooksett, NH, formerly of Manchester passed away on October 11, 2011, at Hackett Hill Healthcare Center in Hooksett. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on August 11, 1941, the daughter of the late William H. and Lida (England) White.
She grew up in the Chaddsford, PA area and graduated from Unionville High School. She went to Goldey Beacom Business College in Delaware and graduated with a business degree.
Ruth was self-employed in the florist industry with her husband. They moved to NH in the early 70’s and continued in the florist industry owning several small businesses. They owned and operated Prescott’s Florist in Laconia NH. She has been retired from the florist industry for many years.
Her creative talents lent well to her business endeavors, as well as entertaining and welcoming her family and friends into her home. She enjoyed the Lakes Region and while at the lake she relaxed with her family by completing jig-saw puzzles, cooking and rug hooking.
She is survived by her loving husband, Bruce P. Eisenhauer of Hooksett; a son, David Eisenhauer of Hookset; a daughter, Lynn Fletcher and her fiancée, Thomas Tobin of Moultonborough, NH; two grandchildren, Mackenzie and Michael Fletcher; a step granddaughter, Sadie Fletcher and her children Delanie and Brayden; as well as a few cousins.
A Memorial Gathering was held on Saturday, October 22nd, at Hackett Hill Healthcare Center, 191 Hackett Hill Rd, Manchester NH. Burial will be private, at a later date in Marblehead, MA. The McHugh Funeral Home, 283 Hanover St, Manchester, NH 03104 is assisting the family with arrangements. Donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice in Ruth’s name or to the Hackett Hill Healthcare Center.
