She was born in Manchester, NH on May 15, 1939, to the late Edward and Burnetta (Casey) Mealey. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester, NH. She was married to the Late Raymond R Durocher for 45 years before he died in 2004.
Before her retirement, she worked at the Bank of New Hampshire. Sue enjoyed knitting which she would enter into NH knitting contests, bingo, crocheting, taking road trips, bowling, and roller skating. She was also a devoted Wayne Newton fan. Family members include a sister Evelyn Boyce of Manchester; two sons David Durocher and his wife Anna of Manchester, and Douglas Durocher and his wife Lisa of Manchester. A Daughter, Dawn Dow and her fiancée Darrell Slayton of Somersworth, and daughter-in-law Bernadette (Durocher) Cote and her husband Paul of Boscawen. Grandchildren include Tabatha Lesko, Cheryl Whalen, Christopher Johnson, Patrick Howell, Dylan Durocher, Geoffrey Dow, Bethany Durocher, Madison Dow, and Sierra Dow, and several great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by her sister Kathleen Morris, her two sons Dennis and Dean, and her grandson, Daniel.
A funeral service will be held at the McHugh Funeral Home, 283 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH on Friday April 12th, 2024 from 1-2pm. A burial will be held at the New Hampshire Veteran’s Cemetery in Boscawen at the convenience of the family.
