Born on June 27, 1923 to the late Oleska and Marie (Hrabinski) Buciak, Virginia was born and raised in Manchester, NH. Gini was educated through the Manchester Public School system and graduated from Central High School. She obtained her Nursing degree at the Elliot Hospital School of Nursing and proudly served as an Army Nurse in World War ll. She served overseas in the Philippines and went on to work as a nurse at the Elliot Hospital, where she met the love of her life, Frank Warren. The two of them were inseparable and loved to travel together, especially to their home in Jamaica that they shared together with their two sons, Bradley and Frank. When her husband, Frank, passed away, her resilience and independence carried her through as she quickly took on the house chores, gardening and lawn mowing that he used to manage. To know Gini was to love her & her unfiltered honesty. She struck a beautiful balance between having a firmness about her, while also being known by those closest to her as having a warm heart, endless generosity and wonderful cooking skills. She taught many the importance of having a thick skin and that enjoying the simple pleasures in life, like a great tan or extra salt, was important.
As a longtime parishioner of St. Catherine’s Parish, her faithful relationship with the Catholic church remained through her heart long after she was unable to physically attend church. She is survived by her two sons, Bradley Warren and his wife, Pamela of Lunenburg, MA and Frank Warren of Manchester, NH; five grandchildren, Bree, Alana, Cole, Taylor and Bradley Jr.; four great-grandsons, Crew, Breckon, Bennett and James, and many loving family members and friends. In addition to her parents, Virginia is predeceased by her sisters Anne Walkins and Katherine Knoettner, and brother, Walter Buciak. Services will be private.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.McHughFuneralHome.com for the Warren family.
