Anna Woronkewycz, 86, of Brick, passed away Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010 at Centra State Medical Center in Freehold. She was born in the Ukraine and lived most of her life in Bayonne before moving to Brick 20 years ago. Anna worked as a tailor for many years.Anna was predeceased by her husband, Wasyl Woronkewycz. Surviving are her daughter and son in law, Irene and Richard Podlinski, of Toms River and her son and daughter in law, Walter and Rose Ann Woronkewycz of Millstone Twp, NJ; her grandchildren, Richard Podlinski, II and his wife Katie, Kerri Whittaker and her husband David, and William Joseph Woronkewycz, and her two great grandchildren, Nolan and Aidan Whittaker.Visiting hours will be on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 AM at St. Stephen's Church, Toms River, NJ, with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
