Evelyn Landinez

Evelyn Landinez, age 84, of Manchester, New Jersey passed away on Friday, January 24, 2025. Evelyn was born and grew up in Brooklyn, NY. She lived on Staten Island for many years, raising her family while working as an Executive Assistant to the EVP for Staten Island Savings Bank in Staten Island, NY. She was the highest fundraiser for the bank for over 15 years.

She and her husband Geoffrey married in July of 1995. They moved to Leisure Knoll in Manchester, New Jersey a few years later. Enjoying their life together, they were extremely active and instrumental in starting many of the clubs and amenities in the community. Evelyn was a member of the Music Appreciation Club, American Irish Club, and was a past treasurer, the Health and Fitness Club, the Italian American Club, the Leisure Travel Club, the Social Club and the Garden and Nature Club. She was also a former treasurer of the Mortgage Forum Organization, a Girl Scout leader, Red Cross Volunteer, USO Volunteer, founding member of the $5,000 Club for the March of Dimes Walkathon.

Evelyn embraced her life with her husband Geoffrey, family and friends. She and Geoffrey enjoyed travelling extensively throughout their years together.

Evelyn is survived by her devoted husband of 30 years, Geoffrey T. Sharp; her loving daughters Elaine Rios and Lisa DeSantis; step children Jodi Ann Brullo and her husband Michael and Geoffrey M. Sharp; daughter in law Jessica Aslanian. Along with her cherished grandchildren Francis-John Rios and his wife Justina, Christopher DeSantis, Jr., Danielle DeSantis, Gregory DeSantis, Michael Aslanian, Catherine Schwahn and her husband Caleb, and step grandchild Michael-John Brullo; and her treasured great grandchildren Benjamin Bodhi Rios, Maeve Elaine Rios.

Evelyn was predeceased by her eldest child and adored son Anthony P. Aslanian and her great granddaughter Eden Schwahn.
