

Frank W. Ratajczik, 71, of the Renaissance, Manchester, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in Jersey City, Frank lived in Parlin for 32 years before moving to Manchester 12 years ago. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. Frank worked for 25 years for the Jersey City Police Department, and retired from the Detective Bureau in 1991. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of the Police and the American Legion.
Frank is survived by his devoted wife of 45 years, Joan Ratajczik; and his aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his parents, Frank P. and Stephanie Ratajczik; his brother, William Ratajzcik; and his mother-in-law, Olga Schmaida.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2013 at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester. Family and friends can gather at 9 a.m. Monday, March 11, 2013 at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be offered at 10 a.m. at St. John's Church, 619 Chestnut St., Lakehurst, NJ 08733.
