Frederick Charles Brush, Jr., 73, of Manchester, NJ, passed away on Tuesday May 1, 2018. Born in Summit, NJ, Fred lived in Hillside before moving to Manchester 44 years ago. Fred was a Veteran of the US Navy, worked as a self-employed welder and spent the past 8 years as a Manchester School bus driver. He was also passionate about cooking and enjoyed spending time with his family who he greatly loved.
Fred is survived by his wife of 46 years, Joan (nee Berg) Brush, his four sons Frederick Charles Brush III and his wife Karen, Brian Brush and his wife Elizabeth, Kristopher Brush and Kevin Brush, his 5 grandchildren, Katelyn, Jacob, Sean, Andrew and Owen, and his 3 sisters Bonnie Chadwick, Doreen Brush and Debbie Kline.
Family and friends are invited to the Visitation from 3-7 pm on Sunday May 6, 2018 at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10am on Monday May 7, 2018 at Saint John’s Church, 619 Chestnut Street, Lakehurst, NJ 08733. Cremation will be private.
