

JANE H. SAWKA, 89, of Manchester passed away peacefully on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013 with her family and extended family at her side. Born in Buffalo, NY, she lived in Paterson until moving to Manchester in 1986. Jane worked for United Veil Dyeing and Finishing Co. in Jersey City. She was a parishioner of St. Hyacinth Polish Church and Blessed Sacrament Church, both in Paterson. After moving to Manchester, she joined St. John’s Roman Catholic parish in Lakehurst.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Willilam E. Sawka and her brother Eugene Blum. Surviving are her two daughters and son-in-law, Elaine and Hector Rivera and Kathy J. Sawka; her son and daughter-in-law, William P. and Lisa Sawka; two grandchildren, Christina L. and husband Justin Mills and Michelle and husband Michael Ruff; and five great-grandchildren, Alexis, Justin Jr., Emily, Michael and Alyssa; and a niece, Virginia Beck.
Friends will be received on Monday, from 5 to 8 pm at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Rd., Manchester. A memorial service will be held at 6 pm on Monday at the funeral home.
