

Louise Mangone, 93 of Manchester, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, September 5th, 2022, with her loving family by her side. She was born on December 18th, 1928 in Brooklyn, NY, to parents Joseph and Carmella (nee Aprea) Russo. Louise grew up and attended school in Brooklyn. While visiting Connecticut, she met the love of her life, Anthony at the beach. They married in 1947 and settled down in Brooklyn. It was here that she and her husband raised their three children while owning and operating a family restaurant. In 2005, Louise and her husband relocated to Leisure Village West in Manchester Township. She remained here until her passing. Louise was a member of the Bocce ball club and the Italian American Club. She also enjoyed her many bus trips to Atlantic City.
Louise was survived by her devoted daughters; Mariann Mangone and Patricia Mangone and her husband Kevin Timmons, her loving daughter in law; Gladys Mangone and her cherished grandchildren; Jason Mangone and Nicholas Mangone. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Anthony Mangone, her dear son Philip Mangone and brother Anthony Russo.
Louise was all about family. She treasured the time spent with her children and grandchildren; cooking and shopping. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all that knew her.
There will be a visitation for Louise on Thursday, September 8th, 2022 from 2-4pm and 7-9 pm at the Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Rd, Manchester, NJ 08759. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered for Louise on Friday, September 9th at 9 am at St John's Church, 619 Chestnut Street, Lakehurst, NJ 08733.
