Michael A. Shahinian died Tuesday February 3, 2015 at Community Medical Center, Toms River, NJ. He was 68 years old. Born in Vienna Austria, Mike grew up in Monroe Twp. before moving to Manchester in 1977. He served in the Unites States Coast Guard from 1966 to 1976 and ran his own diesel repair business, Midor Diesel before retiring in 2014.
Mike was predeceased by his father Sam Shahinian, sister Rose David and nephew Sarkis Shahinian. He is survived by his devoted wife of 47 years Doris, his mother Karoline Shahinian, his daughters Darlene and Melissa, his grandchildren Ashley, Alan Jr., Tina and Michael II, brothers Sarkis, Karl and Mark, and sisters Pat Carroll, Karoline Breese and Jennifer Shahinian, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday Feb. 7, 2015, from 3-7 pm at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Rd., Manchester, NJ 08759. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family at the funeral home. Please visit www.andersoncampbellmanchester.com
