

Patrick J. Kearney, 24, of Jackson, NJ, passed away on Sunday August, 25, 2013. Born in Edison, PJ lived in South Amboy before moving to Jackson in 1991. PJ graduated from Jackson High School in 2007, and was on the Ice Hockey and Lacrosse teams, of which he was Captain of both teams. He also played for the New Jersey Titans Hockey, American Eagles and New Jersey Stars. PJ enjoyed sports, aggressive skating and roller blading and loved the Philadelphia Flyers, the team that everybody loves to hate. He worked as a canvaser for Majestic Home Remodeling.
PJ is survived by his mother, Debbie Kearney of Manville, and his, father Scott E. Kearney of Jackson, his sister Chelsea Kearney, of Jackson, his maternal grandparents James D. and Mary Pfeiffer, paternal grandparents, William and Jean Kearney, his aunt, Lisa Lang and her husband Richard, uncles, James J. Pfeiffer and his wife Beth, Michael Pfeiffer, the late Christopher Kearney and his wife Helen, and Dave Kearney,and his cousins, Richard Lang, Nancy Lang, Sherry Lang and the late Diana Lang. He is also survived by many extended family members, friends and teammates.
Family and friends are invited to the Visitation on Wednesday Aug. 28 at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Rd., Manchester, NJ 08759 from 3-5 & 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday Aug. 29 at 10:30 am at All Saints Episcopal Church, 213 Madison Ave., Lakewood, NJ 08701, and no services at the funeral home in the morning.
