Rosemary (Stabile) Terranella was born on February 5, 1957, and passed away on January 15, 2026, at the age of 68. Rosemary was born to Frank and Regina Stabile and raised in the Canarsie section of Brooklyn, New York, and that is where she met her husband, Dr. John Terranella. They married in 1990 with a beautiful wedding celebration at the Garden State Arts Center. They then moved to Parlin, New Jersey, where they lived for many years, before retiring and moving to Leisure Village West in Manchester, New Jersey, for the past three and a half years.
During her 47-year career, Rosemary worked as an executive secretary for several companies, including Estee Lauder and The Jewish Board of Family Services, both in Manhattan. Her great success in her chosen profession was due to her masterful organizational skills. Her favorite color was aquamarine, which always reminded her of Aruba, one of the many beautiful places she and John visited on their 20+ cruises. They were world travelers, cruising in the Mediterranean Sea, the Aegean Sea, the Adriatic Sea, the North Sea, the Atlantic Ocean, the Pacific Ocean, and the Gulf of Mexico, but the Caribbean Sea may have been her and John’s favorite, as they returned time after time.
Rosemary was a loving and caring person. She loved babies and they loved her, too. She was an avid gardener, home decorator and occasionally enjoyed playing slot machines. Jewelry was her passion, especially earrings. Rosemary was a kind person, always helping others, and she will be truly missed by all who knew her.
Rosemary is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 35 years, Dr. John Terranella, her brother, Mike Stabile and his wife Mary, her brother-in-law, Frank Terranella and his wife Pat, and her nieces and nephews, Nicole, Ryan, Jennifer, and David.
A Memorial Gathering for Family and Friends will be held at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, located at 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759, on January 24, 2026, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, with a funeral service to take place from 11:45 am to 12:00 pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Rosemary's memory, to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, which can be found online at www.stjude.org/donate.
