Shane William Bowie, Sr., of Toms River, passed away Sunday, March 25 at home. Born in Toms River, he was a lifelong resident of Toms River. A music lover, Shane played keyboard and occasionally drums, and could play by ear any song he heard. He loved the ocean and enjoyed fishing as well. With his great sense of humor, he enjoyed making others laugh. Shane had a heart of gold and would do anything to help others.
A loving husband, father, son, brother and uncle, he is survived by his wife, Angela Bowie of West Creek; a daughter, Gabriella Bowie and a son, Shane Bowie, Jr., both also of West Creek; his mother, Judith Bowie-Romanowski of Manchester; two brothers, Thomas J. Bowie, Jr. of Toms River and Christopher Lee Bowie of Sicklerville; a sister, Michelle Marie Bowie LoCicero; and several nieces and nephews.
