

William Vincent Dondiego, 96, of Manchester, NJ, passed away at his son Bill's home, surrounded by his family. Born in New York, NY, Bill lived in Staten Island for many years before moving to Leisure Knoll in Manchester 31 years ago, where he was very active in many activities, including the Footlighters. He was a Army Air Corps Veteran of WWII, a parishioner of Saint John's Church I Lakehurst, a member of the Knights of Columbus and member of the Ocean Yacht Club. Bill enjoyed playing cards, game shows and of course EATING!
Bill was predeceased by his wife Helen in 1996. He is survived by his son William A. Dondiego and his wife Denise, of Hillsborough, NJ and his daughter Elizabeth "Liz" Petersen and her husband Howard, of Long Valley, NJ, his grandchildren; Rebecca, Beth Anne, Nicholas, Arianne and Patrick, and great grand children; Matthew, Jace, Isabella and Caden. Bill is also survived by his brother Vito Dondiego, sister Bridget Savoca and sister in law Marge Moonan.
Family and friends are invited to the Visitation on Wednesday September 23, 2015, from 4-8 pm at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday September 24, 2015 at 10 am at Saint John's Church, 619 Chestnut Street, Lakehurst, NJ 08733. Interment with Military Honors to follow at the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veteran Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, Wrightstown, NJ.
